GOT SKILLS ROUTINES 2025

We’re excited to share our Got Skills Routine Videos for our Gym Champs and Tumble Champs classes— a great resource for families to help their child practice at home and feel confident for the Got Skills Showcase!

These videos are designed to guide students in their practice so they can show up feeling ready to shine. Special thanks to Riley, Colette, and Coach Sophie for putting these together!

  • These routines serve as a baseline and can be adjusted based on each student's skill level and class needs.

  • The focus is on making these routines fun, exciting, and appropriately challenging for every gymnast.

    Tumble Champs 1

    Routine Breakdown:
    1️⃣ Salute – Start with confidence.
    2️⃣ Chassé to Fish Pose – Arms positioned gracefully.
    3️⃣ Straight Jump, Split Jump – Show height and control.
    4️⃣ Handstand or Handstand to Bridge – Kickover is optional.
    5️⃣ Half Turn – Keep balance and precision.
    6️⃣ Backward Roll – Smooth and controlled motion.
    7️⃣ Running Roundoff Rebound – Power and strong landing.
    8️⃣ Cartwheel or One-Handed Cartwheel – Show control and technique.
    9️⃣ Backbend or Bridge Hold – Maintain a strong, steady position.
    🔟 Candlestick to Standing – Core engaged for control.
    Ending Pose / Salute – Finish with confidence!

    Tumble Champs 2

    Routine Breakdown:
    1️⃣ Salute – Begin with confidence.
    2️⃣ Chassé Leap – Show height and extension.
    3️⃣ Dive Roll – Smooth and controlled landing.
    4️⃣ Tuck Jump, Split Jump – Display power and flexibility.
    5️⃣ Front Walkover – Option to perform twice if desired.
    6️⃣ One-Handed Cartwheel – Strong and steady form.
    7️⃣ Back Walkover or Backbend, Bridge Kickover – Choose based on ability.
    8️⃣ Roundoff – Add Back Handspring – Power through the skill.
    Ending Pose / Salute – Finish strong with confidence!

    Routine Breakdown:
    1️⃣ Salute – Begin with confidence!
    2️⃣ Chassé to Tuck Jump – Show control and height.
    3️⃣ Cartwheel – Strong, straight arms and legs.
    4️⃣ Forward Roll – Smooth and controlled.
    5️⃣ Chassé to Fish Pose – Arms up, finishing with grace.
    6️⃣ Heel Snap Turn – Controlled turn with pointed toes.
    7️⃣ Sit to Tight Body - Bridge Hold – Strong, steady hold.
    8️⃣ Candlestick to Stand – Core tight, legs straight.
    9️⃣ Handstand to Lunge – Controlled entry and exit.
    Ending Pose/Salute – Finish strong with confidence!

    Gym Champs 1 - Beam

    Routine Breakdown:
    1️⃣ Salute – Confidently present yourself.
    2️⃣ Mount to Standing – Strong and controlled.
    3️⃣ Relevé Walks – Stay high on your toes for balance.
    4️⃣ Arm Circle to Plié – Smooth, graceful movement.
    5️⃣ Stretch to Relevé – Engage the core and lengthen.
    6️⃣ Step, Pivot Turn – Keep tight and controlled.
    7️⃣ Forward Kicks to Middle of the Beam – Show extension and balance.
    8️⃣ Step Lunge, Lever – Reach long and stay steady.
    9️⃣ Arabesque Hold – Strong posture and control.
    🔟 Turn to the Side - Straight Jump Dismount – Stick the landing in a freeze body position.
    Ending Pose/Salute – Finish strong with confidence!

    Routine Breakdown:
    1️⃣ Salute – Begin with confidence and strong posture.
    2️⃣ Chassé Leap to Fish Pose – Arms in front, showing control.
    3️⃣ Split Jump – Extend legs fully in the air.
    4️⃣ Cartwheel Step-In to Backward Roll – Smooth and connected movement.
    5️⃣ Handstand to Bridge – Strong handstand leading into a controlled bridge.
    6️⃣ Kick Over (Optional) – If ready, push through to stand.
    7️⃣ Roundoff Rebound – Power and control in the landing.
    8️⃣ Half Turn – Maintain balance and pointed toes.
    9️⃣ Backward Roll – Smooth and controlled transition.
    🔟 Salute – Finish strong with confidence!

    5️⃣ T Hold – Maintain balance with a strong core and straight lines.
    6️⃣ Heel Snap Turn – Tight and controlled turn.
    7️⃣ Straight Jump – Push through toes for height and control.
    8️⃣ Point to Leap – Extend legs fully, showing grace and power.
    9️⃣ Arabesque Hold – Strong posture and steady control.
    🔟 Relevé Walks – Stay high on toes for balance and confidence.
    Side Handstand Dismount – Finish strong with a controlled landing.

    2️⃣ Handstand – Hold strong with tight form and balance.
    3️⃣ Arabesque to Leap – Graceful transition with extension.
    4️⃣ Plié to Relevé & Pivot Turn – Engage the core for stability.
    5️⃣ Step to Split Jump – Show power and extension.
    6️⃣ Cartwheel – Keep arms and legs straight for a clean finish.
    7️⃣ Forward Kicks – Maintain balance and controlled leg extension.
    8️⃣ Wendy – Smooth and confident execution.
    Salute – Finish with a strong and confident pose!
