What Is the Champion Showcase?
Champion Showcase is a special in-class event held once a year to celebrate your child’s progress, confidence, and growth at Gym Skills. During this week, families are invited into the gym to watch their gymnast show the skills and routines they’ve been working on all season. It’s a fun, low-pressure opportunity to connect, cheer, and see their hard work come to life!
CHAMPION SHOWCASE
When Does It Happen?
Champion Showcase takes place during the first two weeks of November each year, right inside your child’s regular class time — no extra sign-ups or fees required!
Students spend the month of October preparing short, age-appropriate routines in class leading up to the event.
This year’s schedule:
Week 1 (Nov 3rd–8th): Ninja, Cheer, Gym Explorers, Gym Adventurers, Gym Stars, and Tumble Champs 1 & 2
Week 2 (Nov 10th–15th): Gym Champs 1–3
Why We Do It
The Champion Showcase isn’t just about gymnastics, it’s about confidence, community, and celebration. We believe every child deserves the chance to feel proud of their effort, show their progress, and share that joy with their biggest supporters.
What to Expect
Families will be invited into the gym during the last 10–20 minutes of your child’s regular class.
Bring family, grandparents, and anyone who wants to celebrate your gymnast!
Coaches will guide school age gymnastics and Gym Stars classes through their routines on floor, bars, beam, and vault, cheering each student on as they perform.
Tumble Champs will show off their tumbling routines.
Ninja Champs will showcase their obstacle courses and strength skills.
Preschool classes will share their fun learning circuits!
How Routines Are Designed
Every routine is built around the skill level of the class with easy variations to fit each gymnast’s abilities — so every child can shine, whether they’re showing progress on a new skill or performing something they’ve mastered.
