Be Healthy.”, we work to carry out our mission of teaching children how to live a healthy and active lifestyle in both body and mind. Our vision is to leave a legacy and positively shape future generations in our communities. We value the dedication and passion our team has for the classes they lead, the students they teach, and the futures they are shaping. Here is our story. .

2005 GYM SKILLS GYMNASTICS & TUMBLING BEGAN
Gym Skills Gymnastics & Tumbling began in August 2005 as a Mobile Gym. We traveled throughout Central Ohio with just a few mats, going to various childcare centers and after-school programs.
2008 OPENED GYM IN GAHANNA
In June 2008, we opened the doors to our Gym located in Gahanna, Ohio. This gave our mobile gym children as well as kids in the community a place to direct their energy in a noncompetitive atmosphere.
2010 CREATED KC & CC MASCOTS
While operating both our Gym and Mobile Gym we created our mascots, KC & CC in October 2010.
2013 NEW GYM IN GAHANNA
Our New Gym Location opened in Gahanna, OH. We now have a foam pit, Tumble Trak, and our own KC’s Juice Bar and Pro Shop. Address: 810 Science Blvd., Gahanna, OH 43230
2014 MOBILE GYM BEGINS IN CINCINNATI
We launched our Mobile Gym Program in Cincinnati, OH! Now children in the Cincinnati area can experience the benefits and fun of Gym Skills!
2016 GYM SKILLS OPENS ITS NEW LOCATION IN CINCINNATI
We opened up our Gym Skills Cincinnati location! We are proud to serve Sycamore, OH and surrounding communities in our mission to get kids active and healthy!
2017 KIDS LIFESTYLE CENTER OPENS ITS DOORS IN COLUMBUS
We are so proud to open our Kids Lifestyle Center with Gym Skills, Gym Skills Elite, SIMPLR, and our After-School Programs all under one roof!
2020 GYM SKILLS BECAME A FRANCHISING COMPANY
We are carrying out our vision and creating a legacy of positively impacting our communities and youth across the nation.
2024 OPENED GYM SKILLS MOBILE GYM CLEVELAND
Site Director, Heather Thompson, helped launch Gym Skills Mobile Gym.
2025 OPENED GYM SKILLS CLEVELAND
Site Director, Heather Thompson, helped launch brick and mortar gym.
2025 OPENED GYM SKILLS CHARLOTTE MOBILE GYM FRANCHISE
Franchisee, Nepherterra Best, launched Gym Skills Mobile Gym.
2025 20 YEAR ANNIVERSERY
Gym Skills celebrates 20 years serving the community, helping children stay active and get healthy.
